Zandiant to Feature Mobile Entertainment and Wireless Technologies at CES Hospitality Suite, January 7th - 10th

Las Vegas, Nevada - (January 7th, 2002)

Zandiant Technologies, the leading developer of mobile entertainment, wireless and computing products, will be featuring several exciting new technologies at a Hospitality Suite during the upcoming 2002 Consumer Electronics Show (CES). Among the products being demonstrated are the Joyride™ multimedia system, which was developed by Zandiant for Clarion Co., Ltd. Joyride, which is being officially introduced at Clarion's CES booth, is the world's most sophisticated aftermarket mobile electronics product, combining DVD video, 5.1 channel audio, navigation and voice recoginition in a single system. The Joyride is the third Zandiant-developed product to come to market with a Microsoft® Windows CE© for Automotive operating system. The previous systems developed by Zandiant were designed specifically for the Citroën division of PSA, one of Europe's largest automakers. In addition, Zandiant's experienced software and hardware development team continues to provide consulting engineering services to the world's leading automakers and Tier 1 automotive electronics suppliers in the emerging area of In-Vehicle Computing and Telematics.

In addition to Joyride, Zandiant will demonstrate an exciting new technology product concept based on the IEEE 802.11b standard for wireless communication. Commonly referred to as "Wi-Fi", the 802.11b protocol enables Zandiant to wirelessly link cars and trucks to a home or office computer. The numerous applications for Auto Wi-Fi include transferring compressed audio files or enterprise data or compressed audio files wirelessly to and from the vehicle. With extensive experience working with leading automakers and Tier 1 automotive electronics suppliers, Zandiant is well positioned to bring this technology into the harsh and difficult envirionment of the vehicle.

A third emerging technology developed by Zandiant is Class "D" Audio Amplifiers. Utilizing the latest in digital technology, Zandiant has developed a full line of car ampliifiers, ranging from 2-channel to 5.1-channel models. Zandiant Class "D" Amplifiers are designed to deliver exceptional sound quality while operating at very high power efficiencies. As with the Auto Wi-Fi product, Zandiant amplifier designs can be directly acquired by mobile electronics manufacturers who are interested in broadening their product portfolio in the coming year.
