Zandiant Technologies Introduces Innovative Digital Signal Processing for Automotive Amplifiers
Lake Forest, California - (January 6, 2003)
Zandiant Technologies, a leader in bringing digital signal processing (DSP) technology to mobile electronics, announced today the launch of its DSP Digital Amplifier Technology. With the completion of its latest designs, Zandiant now offers a full range of DSP Software, Audio Design Engineering and Digital Technology expertise to the mobile electronics and home entertainment industries.
Zandiant hardware designs include Tripath Class-TTM powered DSP configurable audio Amplifiers, Remote Programming Modules (RPM), Scalable Power Supply Designs and DSP Software for automotive amplifiers. “Combining our in-depth expertise in the areas of audio engineering, digital design and DSP software enables Zandiant to deliver exciting new ways for amplifier manufacturers to enhance their product lines,” said Leo Beaulieu, Vice President of the Digital Audio Group at Zandiant.
Among several innovations is Zandiant’s DSP Amplifier Control software application that enables mobile electronics retailers to quickly adjust, store and retrieve vehicle-specific amplifier settings utilizing a Zandiant-designed RPM or a Windows-based PC. Zandiant application software allows for remote control of DSP settings that include filtering, volume, tone, equalization, slopes and crossovers.
High performance audio is delivered by Zandiant’s compact power-efficient amplifier designs. The high efficiency of its Class-T amplifier designs enables Zandiant to deliver output power far superior to comparably sized analog car amplifiers. Additionally, Zandiant’s highly-efficient scalable Power Supply designs allow mobile electronics manufacturers to deliver high-powered amplifiers that do not require upgrades to vehicle electrical distribution systems. Zandiant reference Class-T Amplifier designs meet both FCC and European CISPR 22 emissions standards. Zandiant supplies discrete DSP module designs, complete DSP amplifier designs and full production support for branded products to car audio manufacturers. Zandiant also offers licenses to both DSP technology and hardware designs.
Zandiant will demonstrate Digital DSP Amplifiers, Remote Programming Modules, and DSP Amplifier Control software applications at the 2003 International Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas. Demonstrations are open to mobile electronics manufacturers and suppliers from January 8th to 12th at the Zandiant suite (Booth No. 50063 inside the Las Vegas Hilton). To arrange a private demonstration, contact info@zandiant.com or (949) 300-1524.
